Interviews Stories CG: Hello, first again I´ve to thank you for taking time for this interview. Please tell us some details about your band ! Where are you coming from ? Ho long does your band exist ? What kind of music do you play ? Christian: Hi my name is Christian and Im the one doing all the screamz in Spiritus Sancti. We are a five piece band, TG on guitar and Steve on guitar and Hannes on bas and the mighty matthias on drumz. We rise from the kingdom Motala in Sweden. We have been together for about 1 and a half year now. The music we play would we like to call something between death metal/ hardcore/ trashmetal. Its hard to explain. I dont know what other people thinks of it but thats what we have told our friends. CG: How did you come to the name "Spiritus Sancti" ? Are you a religious band ? Christian: Me and Steve took the name from the awesome movie Boondock Saints. The name just smashed right into our faces. NO, we are not a religious band. Every person in this band have its own opinions about that crap. CG: Your kind of music sometimes reminds me of "Darkest Hour", what do you think of them and was the similarity to them planned ? Christian: No, myself is the only person in this band that are in to Darkest Hour. I can only speak for myself now and then I have to say that I really enjoy the music of DH.  CG: Talking about bands, what are your favorite bands ? Christian: Here is some bands that I think you should check out for: Targetpoint, Madison, Blood For Blood, Dismember, Throwdown, Ramallah, DMT, Crumbsuckers, Cro Mags, Killswitch Engage, SOIA and the list goes on. CG: Your new album is now released on Full House Records, how did you get to the deal with Full House and are satisfied with the work they do ? Christian: I have known kristian for a while. he is one of the most hard working guys I have ever meet. I can tell you that Spiritis crew are really happy about being on Fullhouse records. They have done an awesome job with us. We couldn`t have it any better. Fullhouse rulezzzzz! CG: How was your first show as "Spirtus Sancti", can you just remember that first show ?  Christian: The first show we only played two songs and it got great response. It was on the Motala X-mas fest 1.. If was nice to see so many people checking us out. CG: Do you have any plans for your next album ? Christian: We will hit the studio again in march and then we will record 5 new songs. the new material is more aggresive and stronger then the first album. Be prepared for the breakdown. It`s more evil metal. CG: Talking about an new album, is the songwriting difficult or is it easy for you writing new songs ? Christian: All the music is written by Steve and Tg together. They are amazing guys when it comes down to doing music. All the lyrics are made by me. I like to have it that way and I think the other guys also thinks so.  CG: Have you plans for touring ? Christian: Yeah, we will be back in Finland in late January -03. And then we wanna try out our music in Europe. That would be nice as hell. CG: What future plan do you have as a band ? Christian: To tour as much as possiblie. Play live and not just become a studio band. But we wana have the new record out sometime this summer maybe and then conquer the world. CG: Do you have a webpage ? I couldn´t find anything on the net ! Christian: We are right now working on a homepage.
